2018 Benchmarking Deadline is Extended to February 15th
The City Department of Buildings (DOB) has announced that the 2018 benchmarking compliance deadline for the 2017 calendar year data has been extended to February 15, 2019.
This deadline extension covers all buildings greater than 25,000 square feet. The DOB Service Notice can be found here.
National Grid requires up to five days to process and upload natural gas data to Portfolio Manager. If National Grid is your natural gas provider, you are encouraged to allow for their processing time in order to submit your energy benchmarking data to the City by the February 15th deadline.
Please note that 2019 benchmarking compliance for reporting 2018 calendar year data, is due by May 1, 2019. The 2019 Covered Buildings List and reporting template will be available soon.
